Spring Honey is a pleasant tasting mild honey. It is water white to lemon yellow in color and very aromatic. Spring honey is made mainly from the nectar of the black locust trees.

Tulip Poplar honey has a little stronger taste and darker color than most spring honey.  The Tulip Poplar trees, which the bees gather nectar from, blooms in the spring and produces darker nectar which makes a stronger taste and also gives the Tulip Poplar Honey is darker color.

Summer honey has a sweet, flowery flavor and a very pleasing mild taste. The bees gather the nectar to make this honey from many different types of clovers and wildflowers that grow near our bee yards in Ross County, Ohio

Fall goldenrod honey is a light to medium honey in color and has a slight bite to it. Goldenrod honey is taken off very late in the season when goldenrod is primarily the only plant in bloom.

Raw honey will granulate over time. This does not mean the honey has gone bad. Honey does not spoil. To re-liquify the honey simply heat the honey gently in a pan of warm water under 100 degrees to protect the flavor and natural enzymes.
